How to make paper minis
- Print at actual size. In the print window choose Actual size or 100%, not Fit to page. Measure the 1 inch square on page one before you cut anything.
- Cut on the solid lines. Scissors are fine; a craft knife and ruler are quicker for a whole sheet. Card stock lasts longer than plain paper.
- Fold on the dashed lines. Fold the strip in the middle so the two pictures meet back to back, then fold the end tabs outward so it stands up. A coin or a dab of glue under the tabs keeps it steady.
- Number your foes. A group of three goblins prints as Goblin 1, 2 and 3, so you can tell which one is hurt. The turn tracker uses the same names.
Cards
Cards are 2.5 by 3.5 inches, the size of a playing card, so standard card sleeves fit them. A monster card carries the details you rolled: signs, what it wants, how it behaves, its weakness and what it guards. A card for one of your people carries what you saved in the Campaign Notebook. A blank card has lines to write on, and the turn-order card is a paper version of the turn tracker.
Everything stays on your device: your sheets are saved in this browser, and printing happens on your own printer. Nothing is uploaded. See playing solo with miniatures for how to use them at the table.
